OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The man arrested in connection to a homicide in Levi Carter Park last May has appeared back in court.
A jury found Brandon Mikesh, 29, guilty Monday on charges of second-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, tampering with evidence, and theft by receiving stolen property.
Mikesh’s case headed to the District Court of Douglas County for trial after an appearance in Douglas County Court on July 22, 2024. The trial then began on Dec. 8.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 10 before Judge Katie Benson, according to a statement…
