OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A suspect in the shooting death of an Omaha teen on Dec. 12 in Benson made his first court appearance Wednesday.
Barry Burrus, 18, appeared in court on four charges: 1st-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a defaced firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a juvenile offender.
Wednesday, a judge denied bond for Burrus and set his preliminary hearing for Jan. 27.
