OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Hundreds gathered at the Open Door Mission for their annual Christmas banquet, where volunteers served meals and fellowship to those in need on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Pat Williams, a volunteer, described the experience as “hectic joy” as she helped serve food at the custom omelet station alongside biscuits and gravy, potatoes, sausage and rice pudding.
