HOLT COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) – An early-morning crash on Interstate 29 sent two drivers off the side of the road Wednesday, emergency responders reported.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 1:06 a.m. on Dec. 31.
In a report, troopers said that a semi-truck was headed north on I-29 when, half a mile south of Mound City, its towed unit had an equipment failure. The unit hit an emergency crossover then detached, rolling in the median while the semi-truck drove off the east side of the road…
