OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One of the suspects in the shooting death of 17-year-old Sevyn Bellar-White on Halloween opted on Friday to go to trial.
Yourhansay Gonzales-Washington, 18, waived his preliminary hearing on Friday and will go to trial on charges of accessory to murder and tampering with evidence. The charge of possessing a defaced firearm filed was dropped.
In his preliminary hearing on Friday, 18-year-old Rayquan Bass had his charge of possessing a defaced firearm dropped, court records show. He still faces charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
