Teenagers and performance vehicles should never mix, but one 19-year old in Nebraska found that out the hard way. Besides being taken to jail, his new car was impounded after just four days of ownership.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies observed an Audi S5 traveling in Omaha at speeds of 133 mph (214 km/h). If that wasn’t bad enough, the vehicle was then seen “threading the needle between six other cars trying to get to the fast lane without signaling.”
A traffic stop was initiated and it was eventually discovered Tanner Jones had bought the car on December 30. Since the incident occurred on January 3, he only had the vehicle for four days…
