Omaha Public Schools sees teacher shortage improvement

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Public Schools is reporting more stability in classrooms this year as the district works to address ongoing teacher shortages through new partnerships and improved support systems.

At Castelar Elementary School, more teachers are filling classrooms, including first-year teacher Mila Herszbaum-Harding, who credits her success to a partnership program between the University of Nebraska at Omaha and OPS.
