Nebraska – Snow begins to drift across open fields and city streets this morning, pushed sideways by brisk northwest winds. Visibility drops quickly during heavier bursts, and pavement turns slick even where snowfall looks light. Conditions feel deceptively manageable, but travel risks increase fast once snow and wind combine.
According to the National Weather Service in Omaha, snow showers develop early today and continue at times through the day and evening.
