Police make arrest in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that killed Omaha man

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Omaha Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a pedestrian crash that left another man dead last month.

Jaklyon Larry, 26, was arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident resulting in death. Police shared the update in a release Wednesday morning.

25-year-old Matthew Siles, of Omaha, was killed in the hit-and-run crash near 43rd and Cuming, in the Midtown area, on Dec. 17.

Investigators determined a Tesla was eastbound on Cuming Street when a man was struck while crossing Cuming northbound. Siles was identified as the victim the following day, Dec. 18…
