Rare Nebraska measles breakthrough case raises concerns for vulnerable children

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Lancaster County officials confirmed a rare breakthrough case of measles in a fully vaccinated adult with no out-of-state travel history.

The case has prompted concern among families with vulnerable children, including Kenna Balsewicz, whose 4-year-old daughter Olivia faces numerous health challenges.
