OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A 6-year-old first grader has started making care kits for homeless shelters after feeling called to help people in need.
Journey Brockman began her mission two weeks ago, assembling the kits in her family’s living room. Her mother, Tonika Brockman, said the idea came entirely from Journey.
