Chancellor Joanne Li, Ph.D., declared that the University of Nebraska at Omaha has achieved its required $1.9 dollar budget reduction without terminating any full-time workers in an update sent out on Wednesday morning.
The $1.9 million in budget cuts implemented at UNO come as part of a $40 million budget reduction distributed across all four University of Nebraska campuses.
Li’s update stated UNO’s budget cuts were made with “minimal impacts to academic programming and with no reductions of current full-time employees.”…
