Police make arrest in northwest Omaha bank robbery

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Police arrested a 23-year-old man during the course of the investigation into a bank robbery on Tuesday afternoon.

Deron Lewis-Payne was arrested Wednesday morning, after a foot pursuit that started near 33rd and Decatur streets, OPD said in an update.

He was booked into Douglas County Corrections, facing one count of robbery.
