Omaha man arrested in York County traffic stop

YORK – On February 13, at approximately 8:59 p.m., a Sergeant with the York County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a sedan traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 near mile marker 352 for a traffic violation.

During the course of the stop, a male passenger provided the Sergeant with a false name. Through further investigation, the male was positively identified as Christopher Martin (23) of Omaha, NE. Deputies discovered Martin was currently subject to an active domestic abuse protection order prohibiting any contact with a female occupant inside the vehicle. It also was the second time that the male had been caught violating the order.

Martin was immediately placed under arrest for Violation of a Domestic Abuse Protection Order, 2nd Offense and Criminal Impersonation. He was transported to and lodged at York County Corrections…
