BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) – A grand jury found no reason to indict officers involved in an incident with a man reportedly found naked in a stranger’s backyard pool last summer.
According to police reports, the homeowner called police after finding a drunken man in their pool, telling 911 dispatchers that he then tried to enter the home.
Police said they found the suspect, later identified as Justin Lieffers, 43, of Bellevue, and that he tried to flee from officers. He was caught, but resisted arrest and had to be subdued, according to officer reports…
