OMAHA, Neb. (KNOP) – Four local wrestlers claimed state championships at the NSAA State Girls Wrestling Tournament on Wednesday. Three of the ladies earning back to back state titles.
Sutherland junior Addison Arvdal earned her second straight undefeated state championship, defeating Broken Bow’s Ida Bumgarner 15-8 in the Class B 190 Championship Match.
Cozad’s Abby Negley wrapped up her season with a state championship, defeating Neligh-Oakdale’s Baylee Chessmore 17-1 in the Class B 110 Championship Match. Negley ends her high school career with two state titles…
