A fan-favorite southern gas station and convenience store is set to make its way into the Cornhusker state for the first time ever.
The travel center “Buc-ee’s”, which was founded in Texas in 1982, will install its first Nebraska location in the city of Gretna, according to city officials. As part of Gretna’s “Good Life District” – which is intended to draw tourism and out-of-state shoppers – the new Buc-ee’s station will be erected on a 43-acre plot southeast of Interstate 80 at the Highway 31 interchange.
