OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A new curbside composting pickup program is launching in Omaha, with organizers saying no comparable program exists anywhere else in the country.
Hillside Fund, the nonprofit arm of Hillside Solutions, is behind the initiative. Hillside Solutions has diverted food waste from Omaha landfills since 2004.
