Omaha roundabout reopens after 3 months of construction

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A major intersection in Omaha has reopened following three months of construction, bringing new bike lanes, improved lighting, and the promise of spring landscaping to North Saddle Creek, Country Club Avenue, and Happy Hollow Boulevard.

The project drew mixed reactions from business owners along the corridor, with at least one reporting a 15% drop in revenue during the closure.

‘For what?’: One owner questions the cost

Dana Peffer, owner of Sgt. Peffer’s, said the construction hit her drive-thru-dependent business hard.

“We’re known for our drive-thru, 60% of our business goes out that window. We definitely lost at least 15%,” Peffer said…
