(Glenwood) — Mills County authorities are advising residents of the latest phone call scam.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says they have recently been informed that an unknown person or persons are calling individuals and impersonating the sheriff’s office. The caller states that arrested subjects could be offered a diversion program or an ankle monitor if they pay the sheriff’s office.
