Nebraska Medicine expands in Omaha, nearly $100M health center to open in 2027

OMAHA — Nebraska Medicine is expanding its Omaha reach with construction of a nearly $100 million health building underway at a busy 42nd and Farnam Streets intersection.

The Farnam Street Center will rise four stories on the intersection’s southeast corner and is expected to open to patients in September 2027.

The new 94,000-square-foot facility will become the main location for Nebraska Medicine’s dermatology program and also will help meet increasing demand for outpatient gastrointestinal and behavioral health services, according to a Nebraska Medicine statement.
