OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – As part of a coordinated statewide response, Omaha Fire Department crews are heading to western Nebraska to help fight wildfires burning in that area.
Mayor John Ewing Jr.’s office confirmed with First Alert 6 on Saturday that the city was planning to send personnel to assist crews battling fires across the state.
