HARRISONVILLE, Mo. (KOLN) – Concordia University confirmed one student athlete was killed and three others were injured in a crash on Friday.
The student who died was identified as 22-year-old Matthew Wing of Seward, a junior on the track and field team at Concordia.
The three other people in the vehicle with Wing were identified as Concordia student athletes from Omaha, Stromsburg and Lincoln. The university website shows that they are also on the track and field team.
