Green Light Your St. Patrick’s Day Plans

The parade may have come and gone over the weekend, but Omaha is still very much in celebration mode. Tuesday offers a more relaxed excuse to grab a Guinness, hunt down some corned beef, and lean into the holiday. Here are a few easy ways to celebrate:

  • Big Grove Brewery – “Little Luck” celebration: Running from late morning through early evening, this laid-back St. Patrick’s gathering mixes live music and drink specials without the all-day chaos.
  • Official St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl: Starting around 5 p.m., crawlers will move between downtown stops including Upstream Brewing and nearby bars, keeping the weekend celebrations going.
  • Kid-friendly St. Patrick’s activities at Fat Brain Toys: Families can join a morning “Toddler Tuesday” themed around the holiday to enjoy games and simple crafts together.

Tenaska Center Opens Doors This Week

After decades of planning and two years of construction, the Tenaska Center is ready for its debut. The center will officially open this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Thursday, March 19. A free public open house will follow on March 22, giving visitors a chance to explore the building themselves and see how the space will support the next generation of local artists.
