Omaha man sentenced for assaulting federal officers during Glenn Valley Foods raid

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man who hit a U.S. Marshals Service vehicle with rocks and his fist during the immigration raid at Glenn Valley Foods last year was recently sentenced to nearly two years in federal prison.

Osmar Lorenzo-Genchi, 20, was sentenced to 22 months in federal prison, where there is no parole; and ordered to pay $2,284.40 in restitution. The sentence for assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers with the intent of committing another felony was handed down by U.S. District Judge Brian C. Buescher on Wednesday.
