Omaha woman accused of setting stolen car on fire next to gas pumps

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Omaha woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of setting a stolen car on fire next to the pumps at a gas station after taking a knife to the seats, according to Omaha police.

Jessica Cziria, 32, faces two felony charges of theft by receiving stolen property greater than $5,000 and criminal mischief greater than $5,000.

According to the police affidavit, the Omaha Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at the Mega Saver gas station near 90th and Maple Street at about 1:08 p.m.

Investigators reviewed surveillance video and watched as the vehicle, described as a white Dodge Ram pickup, sat at the pumps for several minutes before the suspect, later identified by police as Cziria, ran from the car carrying clothes, per the report…
