The Springfield Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Springfield City Hall. The meeting will cover three development proposals:
- Village on Main Phase 1 – final plat for 72 lots near 132nd & Main Streets.
- Springfield Highlands – revised preliminary and final plats for 133 lots near 132nd Street & Platteview Road.
- Springfield Gateway Park – request to rezone about 72 acres at 144th Street (Hwy 50) & Capehart Road from Agricultural Residential to Business Park, plus a preliminary plat for 3 lots.
