OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Mayor John Ewing Jr. is providing a window on social media for the public to openly comment on his Facebook page — via one post, through the end of June.

“We believe social media is an important vehicle for sharing information. Unfortunately, social media can also cause harm by promoting vitriol, division and misinformation. This was the thinking that led us to disable comments from the beginning,” the post states…
