Keep Omaha Beautiful and the Arbor Day Foundation are teaming up to give away 200 new trees to Omaha residents who were affected by the 2024 tornadoes. The distribution will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12–2 p.m. at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park near Jerry Frerichs Field (20919 Elkhorn Drive, Elkhorn, NE).
Tree recipients were selected through the Tri-County Long Term Recovery Group to help restore the city’s tree canopy and support recovery efforts. The event will also feature food, live music, and information booths, though it’s not open to the general public…
