Bellevue dog attack victim still waiting for restitution 6 years later

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A Bellevue senior citizen viciously attacked by a neighbor’s unrestrained dog six years ago has recovered from serious wounds. But final justice remains elusive.

In 2020, while walking along 36th Street, Cliff Shepoka got caught on the wild side of two unrestrained dogs.

“They came across both of them and the German Shepherd bit me on the hand and then he went behind me and bit me on the leg and the white lab was in front of me but all he did was bark,” Shepoka said…
