North Omaha grocery store moves closer to reality with zoning change

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A grocery store planned for North Omaha moved one step closer to construction after the city’s planning department changed zoning for the site.

The city planning department on Wednesday changed the zoning for an open lot at 25th and Lake streets from residential to commercial. The nonprofit Heart Ministry Center is set to run the new grocery store.
