OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Nebraska is experiencing a drought, with some areas recording record dryness. Omaha lawns are already showing the effects.
The metro showed a milder winter than usual, which left out critical moisture for grass and plants to grow back more efficiently. Lawn care workers say if homeowners haven’t started watering their lawns already, now is the time.
According to the State Climate Office, Nebraska has received 50 percent less of their normal precipitation this year. This has caused hurdles for not only homeowners, but lawn care businesses as well…
