We are canceling the First Alert 6 Weather Day on Friday. The cold front responsible for the storms is moving through faster, lowering the chances for severe weather in the Omaha metro.
There is still a small window for a stronger storm in Omaha around midday, but the fuel for bigger storms is in Iowa. Some of those storms in western Iowa could have large hail and strong winds.
