Demings says Orange County making strong progress but warns state’s property tax proposal would cut deep

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Mayor Jerry Demings gave his final State of the County address for Orange County on Friday.

Demings has served the maximum amount of terms permitted as Orange County mayor. He suspended his gubernatorial campaign on Friday, disclosing that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
