SANFORD, Fla. (CBS12) — The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens was evacuated Sunday afternoon after officials say the facility received a bomb threat.
Zoo officials say all guests and staff were immediately cleared from the property as a precaution. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office responded and worked with zoo personnel to secure and sweep the premises.
