APOPKA, Fla. – A stretch of Boy Scout Road in Apopka is drawing new attention as the city considers lowering the speed limit in response to concerns about speeding and safety.
City leaders are expected to discuss changing the speed limit from 45 mph to 35 mph on the 1.2-mile section of the two-lane road.
Neighbors say the area has gotten busier as more homes are built nearby. A traffic count shows about 2,500 cars travel Boy Scout Road each day…
