POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A multi-agency law enforcement effort involving drones, aviation units, and K9s led to the arrest of an Orlando man on Saturday morning after a stolen vehicle was tracked across county lines.
The incident began at approximately 10:09 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, when deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office spotted a silver 2013 Chrysler 300 in northeast Polk County. The vehicle had previously been reported stolen out of Orlando on July 2.
As the vehicle moved toward the county line, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office deployed additional resources, including its Air, K9, and Drone units, and alerted the neighboring Osceola County Sheriff’s Office about the vehicle’s direction…
