ORLANDO, Fla. – A 2-alarm apartment fire Friday left an entire building condemned and multiple residents without a home, the Orlando Fire Department said.
The fire broke out on the second floor of the complex at 2994 S. Rio Grande Ave. Crews knocked it down and had it fully extinguished. No injuries were reported.
Entire building condemned after blaze
Code Enforcement condemned the entire building following the fire — not just the units directly affected by the flames.
So far, nine adults and one minor are confirmed displaced. But Orlando Fire said not all occupants have been notified yet, meaning that number could climb.
