Winter Park Playhouse is returning to its old address with a freshly renovated theater just in time for their 2026-2027 season starting in August.
The renovations happened thanks to a Tourist Development Tax grant from Orange County, and in celebration the local playhouse hosts a Grand Opening Gala “to christen the new space” on June 17. The celebration includes live music and a one-hour production created specially for the new stage.
Guests will be able to experience the many upgrades completed over the past year, including a larger stage, increased seating, a new cabaret space, a brand-new lobby, expanded bathrooms and other structural improvements. The night will include a dessert and cocktail reception and the de rigueur champagne toast. Hopefully you got your tickets, though, because it is already sold out…
