APOPKA, Fla. — A long-awaited project in northwest Apopka is moving closer to construction after the city issued a notice to proceed this week for work to begin at the Golden Gem facility.
The Golden Gem Reclaimed Water Facility is a regional initiative aimed at strengthening water reliability, protecting the springs, and supporting responsible growth in Northwest Orange County.
