LONGWOOD, Fla. — Wekiva Island will celebrate World Rivers Day on Sunday, Sept. 27, with a full day of activities focused on enjoying and protecting the Wekiva River.
The event will include a river and road cleanup, guided river tours, children’s activities, live music, conservation talks and the unveiling of a new Wild & Scenic River mural.
