ORLANDO, Fla (CBS12) — Child welfare leaders, advocates and former foster youth from across Florida gathered this week in Orlando for the Florida Department of Children and Families’ annual summit, centered on the theme “A Legacy of Shared Purpose.”
The event brought together organizations, frontline workers, policymakers and youth advocates to discuss ways to improve services for children and families throughout the state.
