The IHOP at 1120 W. Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka is set to temporarily close its doors on October 4, 2026, for renovations, and there’s no word yet on when it will reopen. The closure will pull the plug, at least for now, on a breakfast spot that has built a loyal following since it opened in July 2019.
According to The Apopka Chief, a restaurant employee confirmed the location will shut down temporarily for renovation work but had no information on when the restaurant might reopen. The employee also could not offer additional details about the scope of the renovation project, according to the same report.
The Chief reported that it reached out to IHOP’s corporate media-relations department seeking more information on the renovation and a possible reopening timeline, but corporate did not respond to that request. That leaves the temporary closure without an official explanation from the company itself, at least for now.
A Neighborhood Favorite With Strong Reviews
Whatever’s prompting the renovation, it’s coming for a location that has clearly won over locals.
