OVIEDO, Fla. – The city of Oviedo is moving forward with a safety project along West Mitchell Hammock Road, with construction set to begin Wednesday.
The work will span from just east of State Road 426 to just west of South Lake Jessup Avenue. The project stems from a 2018 study that recommended improvements to safety and access management along the corridor — including a raised median, a new sidewalk along the north side of the road and better access management.
