The date to change your sprinkler schedule
Orange County’s table runs this season’s schedule from Nov. 1, 2026, through March 13, 2027. OUC also says watering drops from twice a week during daylight saving time to once a week during standard time. For other years, OUC describes the standard-time schedule as running from the first Sunday in November until the second Sunday in March.
Check the controller’s clock when the time changes, as well as its watering days. Changing the days alone can leave a start time different from the one you intended.
Choose your watering day by address
Under Orange County’s schedule, homes with odd-numbered addresses and homes with no address water on Saturday. Homes with even-numbered addresses water on Sunday. If you are setting a controller for a nonresidential property, the scheduled day is Tuesday…
