Developer pushes to remove 67 acres from Seminole County’s rural boundary

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A well-known developer is continuing a push to remove dozens of acres from Seminole County’s rural boundary for construction of a 136-home community.

Former state representative Chris Dorworth is asking the Planning and Zoning Commission to remove around 67 acres — including the former Pappy’s Strawberry Patch property — from the rural area at a Wednesday meeting.
