In February 2014, a household in Okeechobee signed a contract with an electrical contractor to install a generator at their home. The price was about $30,000, and on the day of the contract the household paid a deposit of $18,102.50, a little more than half.
The work was set to start that month. It was pushed back at the household’s request, and in June 2014 they called the contractor to begin.
