TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man is now a millionaire after he bought a winning scratch-off ticket at a corner store.
The Florida Lottery announced that Antonio Redden, 56, of Sanford, claimed a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR scratch-off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.
Redden chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

The Florida Lottery said Redden bought the winning ticket at Kevin’s Corner Store located at 2001 South French Avenue in Sanford. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The $50 scratch-off game launched in February and features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million.
