Lake County, FL – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has issued an urgent appeal to the public in the search for two missing juveniles, Nathalie Vega and Layleah Frasier, who were last seen in the early hours of January 25, 2024.
Nathalie Vega, a 16-year-old Hispanic female, and Layleah Frasier, also 16 years old and a black female, were last spotted around 6:00 AM walking south on CR 468. There is a growing concern for their safety as they are believed to be in the Pine Hills area of Orlando, a significant distance from where they were last seen.
Nathalie Vega is described as being approximately 5’2” tall, with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing white pants and a pink sweater. Layleah Frasier, on the other hand, is approximately 5’9”, weighing about 265 lbs. She has brown eyes and distinctive plaited black and purple hair, and was last seen wearing a black and white striped dress.
The LCSO and the families of the missing girls are seeking the public’s assistance in locating them. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 352-343-9529 or to report anonymously to Crimeline.
