‘They just shot me right in the face:’ Bloodied Florida motorist calls 911 after highway road-rage attack

A bloodied and frantic motorist called 911 after being shot by someone in an SUV on a Florida interstate in a road rage attack.

The unidentified 61-year-old man was struck after someone flashed high beams and then fired a shot into his car on Wednesday night on I-4 near mile marker 112 in Deltona, Volusia County. The man’s 19-year-old son, in the passenger seat, was also hurt. They were treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office said in a news release . Authorities were searching for the culprit.
